We remember them today,
We remember them tomorrow
They are forever a part of our Aggie family.
On Sunday, May 1st, 2022, we will continue the Aggie tradition of New Mexico State University’s Aggie Remembrance Day. This date is forever recognized as a dedicated time to celebrate the lives and memories of our fellow Aggies who have passed away during that year. Since 2013, a simple memorial ceremony was held on campus to recognize current students, faculty, staff and alumni who had passed away during that academic school year. We will continue this tradition with a ceremony at the NMSU Spiritual Center where the names of those who have passed away in the last year will be read and recognized. |

The last few years have been unlike any other, but the spirit of being a part of the Aggie Nation is strong. It is now time to recognize those in our Aggie family who have passed away by sharing their names and celebrating their lives virtually. We invite you to participate in Aggie Remembrance Day through your social media venue of choice – (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter) on Sunday, May 1. You may use the official Aggie Memorial Coin image as a profile picture and share a reflective thought or special memory of your Aggie experience. |
